Rugby Virginia - Dedicated to the Development of High School and Youth Rugby in Virginia

Rugby Virginia is a non-profit organization dedicated to the growth of boys and girls high school and youth rugby in Virginia, while promoting an atmosphere consistent with the values of the game.

Rugby Virginia was founded in 2007 and is organized under the authority of USA Rugby.  Rugby Virginia is operated exclusively to promote and foster the growth of high school and youth rugby football and to educate the public and players in the game of rugby as played under the laws of the International Rugby Board.

Rugby Virginia is composed of high school rugby clubs and youth clubs within Virginia.

This web-site is designed to be informative and supportive of the current High School and Youth Teams and a useful tool if you are looking to start a team at your high school or a youth club in your area. 

In concrete terms, Rugby Virginia wants to let "coaches coach" and works to remove the financial, administrative, coaching, and refereeing barriers that face new teams.
