Format

The 2013 Spring Youth Boys season will be limited to participating Clubs located in Northern Virginia, and potentially the Richmond area (based upon known/existing teams, and as declared).

It is planned to be primarily a Boys competition, with an opportunity to initiate some Youth Girls contact (as previously introduced).

It will consist of approx 7+ teams, based upon Declaration/Confirmation.

There will be an (8) week season, 23 March to 11 May 2013, with an opportunity to play up to 7 scheduled matches.  NO matches will be scheduled the weekend of Spring Break, 30 March 2013.  If more than 8 teams are declared, consideration for splitting into Divisions or adding a scheduled weekend will be considered.

U15 teams will consist of 15 players/side, and play a competitive matrix, for seeding in the end-of-season tournament.  Each team will play 3 games (guaranteed) during the tournament, regardless of tournament match results.

U13 teams are intended to be 15 players/side (with reasonable exception, on a match-to-match basis), and play a "friendly" schedule.  The end-of-season tournament will consist of a "3-game guarantee", noncompetitive bracket.
